Portraits in the Pumpkin Patch

As September draws closer to a close, and the weather gets cooler, it's time to start thinking fall! No better time than to plan a day taking portraits in the Pumpkin Patch!

On October 15th, I will be taking portraits in the pumpkin Patch at

Knox Pumpkin Farm

Knox is a great place to take the entire family, pick out your pumpkin for Halloween, and enjoy lots of other activities such as the corn maze, wagon rides, pony rides, face painting, seeing and petting the animals and so much more and on the 15th of October you can enjoy all that plus get portraits taken of your little ones or the whole family!

The farm is open from 10-5 and I will be there from open to close offering timeslots to interested families. Timeslots are limited however, so be sure to contact me and book your session early!

Booking for September and October

I looked at the calendar this morning and noted that today is indeed August 29th, which made me start to wonder, where did the month of August go? Summer is almost over and the kids will soon be returning to school. So after a short break away from photography for August, I am now booking sessions for the months of September and October! A great time to get your family portraits done for your upcoming Christmas cards! This lovely young lady came to me to hel her develop a modelling portfolio so she can apply to a modelling agency. We had a lot of fun with this session and put together a lovely portfolio for her to use when she goes for her interview on Monday. Here are a few sneek peaks into the final results from the session.

Beat the Heat!

The weather out there has been sweltering and there is no indication that it is going to cool down anytime soon so I thought it appropriate to delay anymore outdoor daytime session bookings until August in hopes that the weather will begin to cool as the end of August nears. Therefore, any July sessions that are already scheduled will go on as planned, I will still book indoor studio sessions and late evening or early morning sessions for July but for regular daytime outdoor sessions we will now be booking into August.

Those of you interested in an indoor/studio session, my home is airconditioned so you will be comfortable and out of this heat!

Remember as you go about your daily activities, to stay indoor as much as possible, and when you are outside, drink plenty of water to keep yourselves hydrated!

Another sneak peak for this lovely expectant mommy and her beautiful family! This session was held in my home in a studio setting and went smoothly from beginning to end! I look forward to capturing this families memories in the future and also meeting their newest addition when he/she arrives!

It's been a while since I posted, things have been busy! I want to send out a great big Congratulations to Jennifer and Sean. You may remember them from a previous sneak peek post. The congratulations is on the birth of their beautiful baby girl Sophia who was born last Saturday and was 10 lbs 9.9 ounces! Mom and baby are both doing well!

I was also lucky enough to do a mat session for this lovely lady last weekend and thought I would share some sneak peeks for her!
