Photoshoot cancelations

I would like to formaly and publically appaulogize to those of you who I have had to cancel your photoshoots due to health issues over the last week or so. I look forward to rescheduling with each of you in the near future.

Also, please note that I will be unable to do any newborn shoots or shoots for children under the age of 1 year over the next few months. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

On a lighter note; I have another photoshoot tomorrow for a lovely family of 4 and look forward to working with them. I will post some sneak peeks after the session!

Photoshoot Sessions and Discounts

I am currently working on booking sessions for May and June right now so if you are interested in setting something up for you and/or your family, please let me know soon so that we can make sure to get you in! Those of you who are expecting but are not quite far enough along, please let me know when you are due so that we can discuss an appropriate date and time to set up your session.

Also Momstown members get a special discounted rate for photosessions! $25 off mini sessions which are approx 20 minutes to a half hour in length and $50 off full length sessions which range in length and can include various wardrobe changes if desired. All participants in a photosession are required to sign a model release form and sneak peeks are posted shortly after the session date.

I have recently posted a casting call for expectant moms. Maternity photos are best shot between weeks 32 and 38 but I personally prefer to do them between 35 and 37 weeks. I am looking for some willing models to partake in a free maternity photosession. If you are interested, you can contact me through my website (link posted above). Also, those who participate in the sessions as a response to the casting call will also be given the opportunity to have newborn shots done once their bundle arrives. Newborn sessions are best done before the baby is 10 days old, so if you have a maternity session done and are interested in taking advantage of that as well, please let me know as soon as the baby arrives so we can set up a date and time. All casting call sessions are PBing sessions. There are no guarentee on the number of images that will be produced and models are required to sign a model release form.

Warm Weather, Sunshine, and Rubber Boots!

So like everyone else, I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of spring! It seems that Old Man Winter doesn't seem to want to pack up his snow, ice and cold snaps and vacate the area. Just when we think 'Spring may finally be arriving' we get another dumping of his wonderful fluffy, yet cold, snow. Blah!

So while patiently awaiting the arrival of spring, I have made a casting call for Pregnant models who are around the 36-37 week mark in their pregnancies, to do some Maternity photoshoots. I have offered a belly to baby package to a couple of the volunteers, free of charge in exchange for a signed model release form. Each package will include a mat shoot and a new born shoot within the first 10 days of baby's arrival and then a disk of the final images to view, print and share!

As the snow melts away though and the temperatures rise, I will once again be recalling all my wedding dress models to do some outdoor wedding dress shoots! How lovely, wedding dresses, sunshine, and rubber boots right!?! I am also looking for some models who are willing to do a 'trash the dress' session. So ladies, it's almost time to get out those wedding dresses again, try them on and get a chance to wear them again for a fun photo opportunity. Models will be expected to sign model release forms and in exchange will also receive a disk of final images!

On another note, I am also planning a boudoir photoshoot day!! I have not done one of these sessions before, but I have some wonderful ideas up my sleeve and I know it will be fun for all involved, oh and a little bit of wine never hurt either!! *wink*

Wow it's been a while, I hope this finds everyone well. I also hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and splendid New Year!

I have since started a new Photography Course through Fleming College. Thanks to my wonderful supporting husband, I also received a studio lighting kit for Christmas, which opens up all new possibilities!

I am looking forward to booking some maternity sessions soon and will be making a casting call in due time!
